2026-2028 SEASONS
NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Austin until 2:00 PM (CDT), FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2026, for mowing private properties in violation of the City’s grass and weeds on private property ordinance for the 2026, 2027 & 2028 mowing seasons.
Bids may be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “City of Austin, Private Property Mowing” and mailed or delivered to:

The bid opening will be conducted in person, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud:

** There is no requirement to be present for bid opening.

The Parks, Recreation & Forestry Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids; to accept or reject any alternatives; to waive any informalities; and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held by the Austin City Council for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
